Have you ever wanted to tell a friend about your holiday or a fun day at school? You can talk to them, or you can write them a letter!
A letter is a written message from one person to another. People in India have been writing letters for a very long time. Even today, writing a letter is a wonderful way to share your thoughts. Let us learn how!
A letter is a written message that you send to someone. It can be written to a friend, a family member, or a teacher.
A friendly letter is a letter you write to someone you know well, like a friend or a cousin.
Think about it: Who would you like to write a letter to?
A friendly letter has three main parts:
1. Greeting: This is how you start your letter. You write "Dear" followed by the person's name and a comma. Example: Dear Anita,
2. Body: This is the main part of the letter. You write 3 to 4 sentences telling your friend what you want to say.
3. Closing: This is how you end your letter. You write a kind ending like "Your friend," or "With love," and then your name on the next line.
